The second edition of Moldova Trade Forum will take place during 28-30 April, one of the most anticipated events of the year aimed at promoting exports from the Republic of Moldova. The event represents a platform for establishing partnerships between local producers and networks/distributors from Moldova and from abroad. The forum is organized by UNDP with the financial assistance of Sweden under the “Advanced Cross-River Capacities for Trade” (AdTrade) Project.

This year edition will be held online and almost 500 participants have registered from 36 countries. Producers with export potential from both banks of the Nistru river, distributors and representatives of the trade networks from Moldova and from abroad had the opportunity to attend the event by registering on the platform https://tradeforum.md/, provided by the Enterprise Europe Network and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova.

The first day of the event will bring to the attention of the main stakeholders (government, private sector, development partners, think thanks and academia) the global trends in trade and recovery recommendations for companies affected by COVID-19, solutions for integrating Moldovan producers in global value chains with special focus on terms and conditions to access the European retail chains. The participants will have the opportunity to listen to the recommendations of some of the most appreciated international business influencers: Dr. Kjell Nordström ranked as management thinker number nine internationally and number one in Europe and Dr. Bernard Marr as one of the first 5 business influencers of the world and number one in United Kingdom, by some publications.

The forum will continue with two days bilateral business to business meetings arranged in advance by the means of the https://tradeforum.md/. The B2B individual sessions will be a unique opportunity to establish business contracts and partnerships.
