The business school for the creative industries aims to help entrepreneurs from both banks of the Nistru river who have creative ideas to launch a business, and those who already own a business in the field - to overcome the pandemic crisis and increase their capacities.

The business school was established by the Association of Creative Industries from Tiraspol, in partnership with the Creative Industries Association of Moldova (COR) and the Agency for Innovation and Development, with the support of Sweden and UNDP in the framework of the "Advanced Cross-River Capacities for Trade" project (AdTrade).

"We have created accessible courses in Russian language on urban entrepreneurship, having gathered theoretical knowledge and practical tools. We will help you to launch your own business if you have interesting ideas. The school will teach a minimum of theory, and the main focus will be on practical tools," said Olesya Lungu, Director of the Association of Creative Industries of Transnistria, at the launch of the school on 28 May 2021.

"Since an important aspect of our cooperation is to improve export capacities, one of the main goals of the school is to help small creative enterprises enter the export markets and fully realize their potential there. For this purpose, we have specially invited experts who will prepare our students for such a breakthrough," noted Viorica Cerbusca, Director of Artcor Center for Creative Industries.

”The School of Creative Industries meets the needs of entrepreneurs from this sector and current trends on the local and global markets for creative products and services. The initiative is supported by a comprehensive exercise, the purpose of which was to roadmap the capacities for development of creative industries on the left bank and offer some practical solutions for the development of this sector, which will enable new cross-river and foreign business partnerships and generate new jobs, especially for women and young people”, said Natalia Iachimov, Project Officer at UNDP Moldova.

The first training program will be held online from June 4 to August 6. Following topics will be covered: time management and personal effectiveness, effective management tools, financial and business planning, digital marketing, sales, and negotiations, and much more.  More information about the program and speakers can be found on the website After completing the training program, members of the association will have access to assistance in marketing and digitalization of their business.
