Registration for “LEGATHON Hack Corruption: Law to the People” has been launched – an event for young people passionate about IT

October 17, 2019

All the young people passionate about IT are invited to register for an innovative event – “LEGATHON: Hack Corruption. Law to the People”, which will take place on 8-10 November in Chisinau. The participants will contribute to developing an application to be used by anyone to report legal provisions which generate or may generate corruption.

LEGATHON will gather 30 young men and women. Guided by IT and anticorruption specialists, they will generate an interface for the National Anticorruption Center’s platform, which would allow reporting the laws or the normative acts containing ambiguous and interpretable provisions which may generate corruption. The best interface proposal will be used for the NAC platform.

The event is designed for young people passionate about programming languages, databases and information bases, as well as for young professionals from IT area, who may develop UXs and are skilled in design (inputs, labels, tabs, typography etc.).

The participants will work in six teams by five persons, so those willing to participate may get registered individually or collectively as a team.

The registration form may be accessed here. The deadline for registration is November 3, 18:00 o’clock.

“Legathon: Hack Corruption. Law to the People” will be organized during 8-10 November 2019 at Digital Park. Follow the event’s Facebook page for more details. The winning teams will get awards.
