UNDP and the UN development system
UNDP remains committed to working even more closely with partners across the UN system. The UNDP Administrator is the Vice-Chair of the UN Sustainable Development Group (UNSDG), which unites the funds, programmes, specialized agencies, departments and offices of the UN system that play a role in sustainable development.
The UN development system encompasses all organizations of the United Nations system dealing with operational activities for development.
The United Nations' priorities in Moldova are outlined in the UN-Moldova Development Assistance for 2018-2022. Developed through broad consultations with many partners from government and civil society, the Development Assistance Framework supports Moldova’s priorities and development challenges in four priority areas:
- Governance, Human Rights and Gender Equality
- Sustainable, Inclusive, and Equitable Economic Growth
- Environmental Sustainability and Resilience
- Inclusive and Equitable Social Development
