  • Construction of the Palanca Jointly Operated Border Crossing Point

    The overall objective of the project is to create from the ground a jointly operated border crossing point at Palanca, on the territory of Moldova. The new crossing point will be built respecting all EU standards and principles on border control administration, ensuring improved conditions for safe and transparent business and trade, movement of people and goods across the border. The project will also contribute to a wider objective, namely “safer and more open borders” between Ukraine and Moldova. The expected long-term impact is to contribute to the strengthening of good neighborhood relationships, as well as facilitation of trade and migration flows between two countries.

  • Moldova Social Innovation Hub (MiLab)

    The project aims to establish a multilateral platform to engage actors from different sectors (public, private, non-profit, etc.) to seek and experiment with innovative approaches to the society’s problems. This is how Moldova Social Innovation Lab was born.

  • The Project is aimed at helping the Government to land and contextualize the 2030 agenda at the national level. It seeks to ensure that SDGs are tailored to the current development framework, have “institutional home” and will be further implemented and monitored by all concerned stakeholders using reliable evidence. The results of the initiative will be also used by the Government and Parliament to advocate for SDGs implementation support from donors, including the European Union. The broad civic engagement into nationalization ensures that the SDGs are co-owned by the whole Moldovan society.

  • The project aims to support the State Chancellery of Moldova in strengthening its capacities as the Center of Government, its policy and aid coordination functions, consolidate its long-term strategic planning framework, in order to be able to coordinate such complex strategies as the Central Public Administration Reform and the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.

  • The drugs crisis from the Republic of Moldova at the beginning of 2015 determined the Ministry of Health to request the UNDP assistance in the area of procurement and supply chain management of essential medicines. This initiative aims to avoid the fraud related to public procurement, the risk of discontinuity in the drugs supply and to reduce the time and cost of delivery and improve quality of procured medicines.

  • The project aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI) in the process of achieving its European Integration goals and commitments.

  • EU Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine

    The Mission is seeking to make a sustainable contribution to the development of border-management procedures that meet European Union standards and serve the legitimate needs of Moldovan and Ukrainian citizens, travelers, and trade, which in turn enhances regional security and supports economic development.

  • EU High Level Policy Advice Mission

    This Mission is the response to the Government of the Republic of Moldova request addressed to the European Union for provision of assistance for democratic reforms and acceleration of political association and further economic association between EU and Moldova.

  • Human Rights Protection and Promotion

    The project is a joint endeavor of the UN Country Team which aims to consolidate and support the efforts to strengthen human rights in Moldova.

  • Moldova Democracy Programme

    The Moldova Democracy Programme is aimed at strengthening the institutional capacity of the Parliament and Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Moldova, improving their main functions and entrenching gender and human rights aspects in formal political and electoral process.
