This publication contains a series of infographics on the participation of women and men in 2016  Presidential Elections in Moldova as election administrators, beneficiaries of electoral trainings, initiative group members, candidates and contestants in elections, voters including out of country voters, observers and elected officials. These infographics continue the good practice in presenting data on elections in a sex-disaggregated manner adopted by Moldovan electoral authorities and supported by UN family with an eloquent example being the 2014 Parliamentary and 2015 Local Election in Moldova which were analysed from the gender perspective and presented to national and international audiences.

The infographics are produced by the Central Electoral Commission of Moldova (CEC) and the Center for Continuous Electoral Training (CCET), in partnership with the International Association of Women in Electoral Management (WEM - International), with the support of the UN Programme "Women in Politics", implemented by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Programme “Improving the quality of Moldovan democracy through parliamentary and electoral support”, implemented by UNDP Moldova, with the financial support from the Governments of Sweden and Norway.
