This report was elaborated in the framework of the Joint Integrated Local Development Programme which is implemented by the Government of the Republic of Moldova with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), and with financial support from the Governments of Denmark and Sweden.

The goal of the Consultations was to examine the likely impact on access to treatment for people living with HIV and co-infections in Moldova and to explore measures that could be employed by Moldova to meet its public health obligation to ensure access to affordable medicines.
