The survey of households focuses on the entire energy consumption in a household. Information obtained from this survey is used primarily to determine the energy consumption structure and create database developing energy efficiency indicators. Extrapolated at national level, the detailed and updated energy data will allow the relevant authorities (National Bureau of Statistics, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Environment, Energy Efficiency Agency etc) to track the progress in use of renewable energy sources and the progress towards the national objectives in this sector, and to design new sector development projects. On the other hand, the foreign investors and the private sector will have the opportunity to develop and start new energy projects.  

The survey covers only persons from households randomly selected national wide. It was carried out in the period of 01.04.2015-01.04.2016 in form of “face to face interview”.
